Subject: DSO is NOT a cover band
DSO is NOT a cover band!! They recreate the grateful dead experience!! Do you call the New York Philharmonic a cover band when they play Bach? I think not. DSO is the real deal, listen to a dead show and then listen to a dso show. You'll see....

Subject: Wow
I've seen DSO play at least a dozen times, going back to the weekly shows at Martyr's in Chicago in '98--I'd had to say this was the best I've seen so far. The band was really tight, and picked a great show to celebrate Jerry's birthday, from the same night 30 years ago. It was a very cool setlist, Lisa was great on You Ain't Woman Enough, and the jam in Dark Star was 10+ intense minutes before the first verse kicked in.
