Subject: DTB @ Ebisu Liquidroom in TOKYO, 11/26/07

The show is a typical boomy AUD recording, with nothing special to recommend it:

First of all, the recording is too hot, saturating the tape all too frequently, with 0.2 - 1% distortion on most tracks, which is audible on the peaks, even after trying to reduce it by hard limiting (lowering the level by 1 dB). That problem could (and should)
have been avoided.

There is NO presence in the recording; the sound is muddy and indistinct, even in the 24-bit version (I listened to both). The bass is quite boomy.

The performance itself is good, but no new ground is broken either in the choice of material or in the performance itself.

In all, this is only a fair recording, which I do not feel is worthy of archiving here (or in my collection). There are much better DTB recordings available.
