Subject: Cabell issues
I don't think the Cabell people have a problem with taping per se (I've been assured more than once that if it's okay with the artist it's okay with them), they just want to make sure tapers aren't in the way. I was taping there just last night, small 4" tabletop stand set up on the partition between the orchestra and pit along with the rest of my gear. No problems from anyone and it sounded decent if not stellar. I'd recommend either doing that or going stealth (never stealth an artist, only venues!).

Nice playing, sound is very muffled- understandable when you read what the taper had to go through.

Notes:
Cd Track split t1-t7, t8-t14(or you decide).Couldn't open tripod, held stand, not much moving but possiable phasing issues. mics din, just right of center, recorded from aisle seat. Nice hall, was told by five different staff I couldn't record, luckily the one person said yes, with stipulation on no tripod.
