Subject: Real Fear in a fake 3D environment
This game is the first of its kind. Doom, Quake and other 3D first person shooters owe alot to this game. It is not 3D, it is flat 2D screens which displays one of a North, South, East and West perspective, occasionally with a sprite being animated somewhere upon it which composes the engine of this game.
The game starts with you opening the door to the dungeon. It closes, this is where you live now until you have completed the game.
Pick and name your team of four from a huge collection of Warriors, Wizards, Amazonians, Monsters and more trapped inside mirrors before going further into the Dungeon.
Listen as you here walls move around behind closed doors, drop items to mark your way, kill your own men when you cannot control them anymore. All this whilst battling mummies and demons with a huge array of weapons and magical instruments and finding your way further down into an ever changing adventure and ever darker maze.
It may look like a 1950's B-movie compared to the graphical and audio output expected from todays games - But this adventure game has all the hallmarks of any good game today.
You will love this game, because if you don't it's not because it's too hard or too retro to grab your attention, it's because you are too scared of what is in the shadows.
Trust me
