Subject: Loving the old school
I agree with all these reviews. And for the record, I love the band in this form. Sweeny playing Ed songs is irreplacable. That sound missing from EH today!

Subject: Classic eH 2.0
Thanks to the previous reviewer for bumping this show to the top of the pile . . .a slice of classic ekoostik Hookah version 2.0, the very best days of Ed McGee's work as the frontman at a time when the sound was just ON all the time.
In comparison to the dank heavy sound of today's band, this is a crisp crackling show from top to bottom and a welcome reminder of what made us love the band in whatever form it takes.
HOOOOOOOKAH!

Subject: Ekostik Hookah: Really Smokin'
Sounds like old-schol Classic Rock to me. Anywhere from late '69 to early '71 with overtones of Southern Rock
The sound is thick and full. and they don't hesitate to do leads either. The Hammond gets a workout, too
From the name of the band, I expected something more '60's psychedelic but it isn't that at all.
Don't hesitate to grab this one up.
