This show was top notch. Hookah always throws down in cleveland and this was no exeption. The crowd was really good for this show and that always helps the whole feel of the show. 5 stars for me

Best Hookah on the LMA 2009 so far. . .
I'm racking my brain trying to determine why I like this show so much. The setlist was a tad to the mellow side, but we did get a "Thumper." The contrast both vocally and thematically between John and Dave on "Carousel" and "MGR" set the tone for the evening.. Cliff got to throw it down on "Isis." Eric even got a few bars of drum solo on "Life is Good" then SFS stole the show with his sick guitar work, making it look almost effortless. The haunting keyboard and harmonies between Dave and John during "Beachhead" will give you the chills. John really nailed it vocally on that one. Perhaps this is the best Beachhead I've ever witnessed. Everyone's individual efforts were spot on and as a group spectacular. All I could ask for was a bit more Eric on vocals. like he did in Lexington. I don't think SFS even had a mic at this one.
The crowd was definitely into the show as evidenced by the substantial cheers and applause on the SBD. Took a newbie to the show and she was Hook[ah]ed by set break. I would recommend this show for folks that have never been exposed to Hookah before, unless they are head bangers.
Chubby's SBD is as crisp as any I've heard. I always hesitate to download a different taper's recordings but Chubby made the "A" list with this one.
