Influences.....strange surreal experiences, world cinema, dreams and nightmares, the industrial landscape surrounding me, abandoned and derelict buildings, graffiti, zombies, machinery, jellyfish, anime, odd noises at night, isolation, fear and loathing, bliss, black and white films, sci-fi movies and books, old stories, ancient civilisations, childhood memories, the stars, specks of dust floating in sunlight, paint fumes, sand, the weathering of time, the sound made by elastic bands, water (in all its myriad forms), everything my senses measure, far too much music to mention.....

Reviewer:Knoxband - - May 11, 2009 Subject: We're all rotten filth! If you are the type of person that enjoys unoriginal, repetitive, three minute radio singles that are redundant in nature and utterly meaningless, then this is not for you.
Sintellect, where to begin, he is an Electronic Ambient Project based out of Northwest United Kingdom and has released his latest E.P. titled “We’re All Damaged”. Within which, he brilliantly manages to capture the sinister and gloomy atmosphere filled with rich texture and a dream like ambiance. In fact this e.p. couldn’t be enjoyed anywhere else but with a pair of headphones in a calm vulnerable place of your selection, ready to face the hungry pessimistic monster within.
“We’re all damaged” opens with “Amongst Us”, a deep drone, and atmosphere that enhances the mysterious voices heard within the track. Following that is, “When you Gonna Come Down?” a melancholic, and melodic song that creates a fine euphoric atmosphere, one can almost find themselves humming to the melody long after. “Ocean Temporal” is static and noise, along with beautiful textured rhythm which later in the song explodes into some powerful head-nodding industrial drums. “The Walls Don’t Look like They Used To” fades in with detuned piano, a deep hum and a static that grows louder creating a grey atmosphere and progresses until it crawls back into the depth whence it came from. Lastly, the Title Track “We’re All Damaged (Fracture Mindset Edit) presents forth the remains of the previous track, with a new set of sounds, texture and pulsating rhythms.
Skillfully stitched together this E.P. satisfies all technical aspects and sounds great in any type of speaker, but as mentioned earlier is best enjoyed within the walls of your headphones as the sounds, creaks, voices, noise, and drones hook your darkest memories together, making you realize, we are indeed all rotten.
