Subject: Jean Berchmans Prévost
Subject: Jean Berchmans Prévost
On page 10, it is said that Jean Berchmans Prévost had two children with his wife Gabrielle Gagnon and that these children died. This is inexact. He indeed had a son named Claude born March 13, 1909 in Saint-Jérôme who later studied Law at University of Montréal, was appointed KC and then appointed Judge of the Superior Court November 17, 1952. Jean Berchmans Prévost also had a daughter, Madeleine, who later married to lawyer André Montpetit himself also later appointed to the Superior Court.
