A very natural sounding recording. To say that one of my favorite commercial groups (because they are actually managing to live on one they do)is Sonic Youth might give you some understanding as to why I like this piece.

This is a music of textures... It's sort of an Unplugged "1983, A Merman I Would Dream To Be" in Spanish. And like the Jimi Hendrix extended cut, it sounds somehow free, unrehearsed, spontaneous... but after a few listens I doubt that this simply popped out of a hat.

Ensamble Cumshot wails under the drone of an.. air conditioner? I mean, this is strange. The room sounds bare, hard plaster walls, and I think that even the room is not an innocent by-stander. The musicians, the cooling system, the walls, they are all playing to each other here. The resultant track is pretty wild, with a lot of varied sounds that seldom repeat. And towards the end, those that understand spanish get a bit of commentary, but don't worry- If you like to hear a group of very into something musicians have a good time jamming, you've come to the right place.
One of the conditions of interesting music is that if you weren't in the cradle when the rattle was birthed it still seems to inspire and time is the last thing that you find yourself thinking of. If you enjoy stretching your consciousness a little bit from time to time... this recording is a good place to go.
Thank the generous people at Cumshot once more for believing in their music enough to hang onto this and other tracks.
I say, give it a spin.
