Frivolous vs DJGFrivolous vs DJG - Slinky/XXX EP [EPS12] (January 20, 2005)
Red velvet draping a staircase, antique frescoes lining up a hallway. Surreal music flooding the hallway from a slightly ajar door at its end.
Step into Frivolous' musical world, where one discovers a sound and emotions filled to the brim with forgotten treasures via arrangements forged through the frivolous spirit of our friend from western Canada.
This time, Dirty Jam Gigohm collaborated with our Karloff records old-timer to produce a classic from the 1950s revisited via electronica. This remodeled track will go straight for the heart, thanks to M. Gigohm.

Do you have a secret love for Paul Campbell's folk classic "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine?" Everyone covered it in the folk revival - even the Beatles did a lovely version. If you share this secret love, then you are going to flip for this recording! Keep your ears open and you'll hear "The Summer Wind" and other fond memories dancing through, as well. This is one fun package of the past and present swirled together like ribbon candy. A sweet treat!

Somehow this release seems to have one foot in the 1950's and another in the 21st Century. Its at times upbeat and sunny and somehow dark and creepy all at the same time. Very cool collection of 'kisses' on track 5.
