Subject: Great Sound and Crowd

Love this guy and his band sounds especially energetic this night. Highly recommended for the full band experience of Smith's songs.

Subject: Simply the best.

I'm not a hardcore fan, but I have his second album and two other live concerts, and a few tracks from his later albums. Out of everything I've heard so far, this concert is my overall favorite. The set list is nearly perfect, mixing early and later material seamlessly. Elliott sounds great with the backing band, and gives a solid performance. This has my favorite version of "Coming Up Roses" too. I especially recommend this concert as a jumping-off point for people new to Elliott.

Subject: Here is an example of Elliott on top of his game.

Decent audio complimented by Elliotts incredible voice makes it AMAZING audio even if it isnt sound board quality.

The show is tight with little crowd interaction like on some of his acoustic only sets ÃÂ this was with a full band and orchestra with a pre set list of songs, if your new to Elliott you wouldnÃÂt know that his non full band shows consisted of him just waiting for the audience to tell him what song to play. In this set the audience did manage to get Pretty Mary K out of him.

Great show!

Notes

A very good audience recording. This is a rather rare recording which until now has only seen very little circulation. The 2000 electric tour still suprises me by how diverse the setlists actually were. No matter how many shows Elliott played with a full band, he still managed to mix up the songs enough to give each show a different feel. This show is no exception even though the only 'rarity' on this recording is a full band Clementine, and even that isn't all that rare to find in a full band show.
