Subject: an important show
spooky as fuck to be able to hear the last time he ever played, whatever the sound quality. he sounds happy in a cynical kinda way... just overall a fascinating listen.

Subject: Warts & All
We're so lucky that so many of Elliott's shows were recorded in some form or another, AND that they're available for us to listen to. This beautiful concert is no exception. It's truley beautiful. It's so bitter sweet, and as a previous review states, it's Elliott Smith, warts and all, God bless you Elliott xo

Subject: I love Elliott no matter what......
This show is still important and still endearing despite the poor quality. I really loved it.
There is a lot of confusion about the video to Say Yes that is supposedly from this concert because of a mislabel. The dark video of Say Yes with the I love Metal shirt is not from Redfest, it's from the Henry Fonda in January. You can tell from numerous things. One being a marker on his left arm that matches other HF vids exactly, etc..... The real video of Say Yes from Redfest is on YouTube here:

Subject: the last show.
He was not on 'smack' or high on anything in this show. He was completely clean in his last year. I wish people would stop thinking he was high in every single show he ever did.
If you're referring to the mumbling and out of the blue comments he makes, that's well, just elliott. Great show, thank you so much.

Subject: sad sad show
thank you for posting this amazing show.been a fan of his for quite a while.this show says it all to the question,"why did he have to go?".obviously he was'nt well around this time compared to his early shows.i play music and elliott is someone i could always relate to as a musician.he shows humanity.he must have been on smack or some sort of drug here but it amazes me that he was brave enough to get up on the stage.as far as i know he never used to screw up on "long long long" like that...rest in peace xo

Subject: You need to listen!!!
First off thanks for including the video of Say Yes. I've been trying to find it!
On to the review;Even if the audio isn't great, it's still nice to hear it. I can't believe this was his last concert. I wish I would of had a chance to see him live.

Hi. I'm sorry about the sub-awesome recording quality on this. I still think it's a great concert, and a historically important one... unfortunately my one and only Elliott Smith experience.
Many thanks to robsf for EQ'ing the recording, making it a better listening experience.
Please remember Elliott for the love, joy, and beauty his music brought into your life. The good things in life are always free... share them.
