Subject: The best keeps getting better
Fastball delivered another outstanding performance last night. They were tight, energetic and fun to watch and listen to. The setlist was great and all of them were on top of their game.
Joey was an animal, as usual, setting the pace all night. Miles was in great spirits, moving all over the stage, egging the audience on. Tony sounded great last night, both on vocals and guitar. He broke a string during the surprise "Keys To Your Heart", and might have called it quits, but Miles would have none of that. Tony picked up the mike and sang "Falling Upstairs" American Idol style. When they segued into "Down By The River" he picked up his 5-string guitar and finished the set out in admirable style.
Bassist Bruce Hughes made his debut last night and he didn't miss a beat (literally). As usual, only the best play with Fastball.
