When Sen. Paul Wellstones plane crashed on a drizzly morning on October 25, 2002, just 60 miles north of Prof. James Fetzer in Duluth, Minnesota, it would have been a bit much to expect the professor of philosophy -- already pissed off about the JFK assassination and cover up, and a host of other scams and crimes -- to sit quietly and accept the official story that Wellstones pilots just forgot to pay attention as they neared the airstrip, letting their plane and the Senator crash dive into the ground. At Princeton, Fetzers thesis was on the logical structure of explanations of human behavior. His 1970 PhD thesis was on probability and explanation. The distinguished McKnight University Professor and former U.S. marine captain teaches courses on artificial intelligence, cognitive science, evolution and cognition, and assassination. Looking at the available evidence, asking 'who benefits?' and using the NTSBs own documents, Fetzer suggests a White House-approved scenario: knock out the planes electronics with a pre-positioned electromagnetic weapon; install or prepare the plane with some highly flammable substance (white phosphorous) to destroy the evidence of an EMP hit (the plane inexplicably burned over 7 hours); control the investigation, freezing out local law enforcement; declare the crash an accident. The FBI ruled out foul play, then had itself written out of the NTSB report. Fetzer spoke at the U. of M. (Duluth), Nov. 16, 2005 (part one of three parts). see also www.assassinationscience.com PART 2 of Three parts.. 21 minutes
