Darkness And Silence[ffs21] Darkness And Silence - Victory in Europe (October 2, 2005)

Second album of the great dark-ambient project Darkness & Silence. Grim symphony of destruction, sounds heralding falling dust and ash from ruins. Dry ground and the reminisce of recent annihilation.
Great dark-ambient sounds mixed with industrial themes referring in their expression to "totalitarian" influences reminding for example Toroidh. It's not a music which brings relief. It's not a music. It's a silent whisper of the beginning of the end.

Subject: Just brilliant.
One of the most grim and depressing pieces of dark ambient music I have ever encountered. Which is to say, this album hits the mark right in the bullseye. This is not uplifting music to make you feel better. This is music that reminds us of what the word 'horror' means. Most of all, it helps us to never forget. Brilliant work.

Subject: Great stuff
Well, it's dark, moody, introspective and all the sampling makes you really wonder about the dark times of then. If you even remotely like dark ambient, you should get this now.
