Philip CunninghamFirebrand Boy

Firebrand Boy are Philip Cunningham and Gordon Turner. Together they twist Philip's Game Boy, NES, SNES, Atari STe, Commodore64 and Atari 7800-fuelled intelligent dance-pop together with Gordon's beautifully honed lyrics and vocals - all served up with lashings of guitar. Live, Firebrand Boy are a revelation. Already turning heads on the Scottish gig circuit, they are now determined to take their brand of fired-up electronica-with-a-heart across the UK and beyond.

Subject: Fascinating melodic electronic music
Embracing melodic flourishes that at times evoke Prince or XTC, yet never losing the beat.

The musical art of Firebrand Boy rewards the listener with intricately created tunes that continue to reveal themselves over time.

I hope to see them play the American side of the pond someday.
