Subject: This Fireman laughed!
Similar to the "Popeye" and other animated versions on this theme. Firemen were not always seen as skilled as they are today. But were always seen as "Good Guys." And, in this version, the Damsel in distress wins again. The stereotypes are everywhere: The horse-drawn engine, the fire pole, the net, the steam engine, etc. Great fun.

Subject: Fire Department to the Rescue
The firemen go to work but fail to save the house. An example of early animated comedy.
