Subject: A successful night
After the anticipation for Future Rock's sophmore release, Gears, it finally came. Followed by two great shows in the midwest. The first being in Madison the night before this.

I can't put into words how excited for a rowdy MW crowd in Chicago. I was not let down one bit. The place was packed, sweaty, and ready. OL did a great job given some technical difficulties. The OL>FR segue leaves something to be desired. Not as good as the segue from 3.30.07, imo. I can get past that. They opened up w/ the perfect song to set the explosions off. Rock Kit, formerly known as Rocket. The place went absolutely apeshit. The night was filled w/ tracks off their latest album, followed by a LOUD Daft Rock set. I could hardly keep myself together for this due to complete exhaustion. My shirt was absolutely drenched w/ sweat. Nothing would've been complete w/o the mini moshpits that ensued throughout the night. Don't sleep on this Gears jam either. Complete lazer filled madness.

Overall, I know this was an extremely successful night for the band/fans. I think the music translated perfectly to the audience, and the audience translated well to the band. A perfect tradeoff. Just another reason to be excited for what's to come in the future for Future Rock.
