In Frailing The Blues: An Introduction to country blues on the five-string banjo, Patrick takes the basic frailing skill set and walks you through a set of songs, concepts and exercises geared to help you get into the groove of country blues music.

Patrick offers tips on playing slide banjo, using rests and phantom hammer-ons to create exciting rhythms and picking up ideas from blues guitar players. In the process you will learn great blues songs like Samson and Delilah, Minglewood Blues, Rollin' and Tumblin' and both the Furry Lewis and Mississippi John Hurt arrangements of Stagolee.

Subject: bushies blues
patricks teaching methods and general philosophy on life are an education for me. can't thank him enough for the books I've bought or for the free video lessons.---- but---is it only something I'm doing wrong or is there no sound on these country blues vids. video quality seems to be much better than the frailing vids.
