NOTES: The sound at this show was pretty bad. First outdoor recording of the Frames. There was a TON of feedback and static so this recording does not quite stack up against my previous recordings of theirs. Levels plummet during "People Get Ready", but rebound by "Revelate."
Levels took a little spill during "Pavement Tune" as well as after 1st verse of "Where Is My Mind?."
Late start on Red Chords due to stopped recording as explained below.
SHOW NOTES: Let me first say, as you can see at a glance, this show was full of into's. Glen spoke quite a bit less and the band just pounded out as many tunes as they could. The theme for the evening was the Pixies with 2 covers which was fucking awsome. Highlight was the set closer, "Where Is My Mind" which was just amazing!!! This little festival kept artists on good time, but the Frames came back out for an encore. I had stopped my JB3 after they left, and before I knew it, they began "Red Chords." The first maybe 20 seconds are missing, sorry about that...other than pretty bad sound, I did my best to make up for it, but the set kicks ass, the show kicked ass, and well...ENJOY!
P.S. - Thanks To The Frames for coming back for a show for the Chi-town fans! It was well worth the wait after the amazing show at The Metro in April. Thanks to my "Key Grip" -- JRock
