Chenard WalckerHeartbreak Pain Cafe [fsz036] (June 1, 2005)

Captain Beefheart met Chenard for a short recording session. The cute pasty things that came out may be heard as some sort of musical anagrams... Breakbeat heartbreaking anagrams.

The two guys have already worked together once, and created a couple of songs, Tornado [fsz002] and Cruel [fsz004], that you can play from here. And for some more pain, the song Electricity was also released in january 2005 on the compilation People Doing Strange Things With Electricity Too.

Subject: Lame...
This is no collaboration with Beefheart-- the samples are simply off of several of his recordings-- I recognized them all. Not only that, they haven't been put to very good use-- samples of Beefheart singing but with no correlation of the music to what's been added. What's here would have been better without the Beefheart vocals. About the lamest sample mashups I've heard...
