My son and me saw the two previous nights shows and now, learning of the "Furthur hiatus", I sort of wish we went to see this Sunday show as well - who knows, maybe we saw 2 of the 3 final nights of this very long bus tour (except for those fortunate few who can go to the Yucatan).
Anyway, I prefer the only other recording on archive.org to date (10/20, and I doubt more will be added) to this one, despite that this one has, to date, been reviewed and downloaded more often. This one sounds to me a bit less clear and the audience noise a bit more intrusive (don't get me wrong - without audience noise live recordings would be kinda dull). Checkout the recording by David Barfield. Not knocking the present one, just sayin' about the other one.
The jam just after the middle(-ish) of St Stephen is beautiful, invoking 2 or 3 other GD classics or am I suffering from auditory hallucinations?
I have to give 5 stars cuz still being here and listening to this after 40 years - what else is better?
