Have listened to all of the tour that is so far available - and have to say this and the Q are as close as I've come to "that" feeling.
This show does a great job of showing not just the ability to turn out strong renditions of older tunes, but to also breathe life into new directions and new interpretations. Colors of the Rain is a great example of the new being a great thing - and this version of So Many Roads is a great interpretation of the stuff the Dead didn't get to explore as far as we all wished they had.
Spine tingling and enlivening and kicking, all at once. Stream or download at your own risk - your booty might be shakin!

Fantastic show and recording! I can't imagine that the soundboard would be a better listen than this.
The energy level is pretty incredible this night; check out the transition into Passenger for an example of this. Colors of the Rain is another real highlight.

West LA Fadeaway, Golden Road, Colors of the Rain, Mountain Song, So Many Roads? I can't give this show more than 3 stars with these songs in the set list. I saw Furthur 3 times and the band sounds tired on this night. Plus Bobby only sang lead on a handful of songs which would have disappointed me if I was there. So Many Roads wasn't a highly requested song even when the Dead did it.

I am a Philly guy who has been living in LA for 20 years and i had these shows marked on calendar but then too much stuff came and i didnt make the trip. Saw the stint in Co and thought the band was sounding great then but they continue to be gettin better i believe. Tower is a great venue and after just listening to this entire show i have to say its one of best i have heard. Recording, set list, and of course all the band members are on fire. Warfrat in 1st set and of course, the St Stephen/Born Cross Eyed is sick. Love the Ripple encore. just a great show and so sorry now i didnt come home and see the old friends and this show. I hope next nights can build on this and thx for posting quick as i will be anxiously waiting the next. God bless u tapers

The colors of the rain the colors of the dew bleed through you. What a kick ass recording!! Thank you Ed man for takin' the time to mellow my bones and sooth my ears. You rock dude!! Just an old time Head lovin' green kind and all the great tunes new and vintage that live and breathe on stage again. From a back porch where the March winds have blown me home.
