Day was hot as hell and despite the ETA being 1 hr 22 mins, it took us just under 3 hrs to arrive at 6:15pm. Were hoping for some quality lot time. Anyway, it was awesome!!! Got in and opened up the cooler, had some beers and watched all the people. Was like the county fair, a circus, subcultural event! They started playin Iko Iko as we were in the lot, got inside to the lawn as they were jammin on Doin that Rag, looked like San Francisco in the park in 1967 or something. Best set I've seen, and the scene as well. Totally the best vibe and energy of the 14 Dead related shows I've seen. Was dancing in the aisles at the end of Two Djinn. NFA sing along, dude playin sax in the lot after the show (saw him at Manch too!) Everthing I thought it would be and more!

Subject: Meltdown!
What a night! Security was downright friendly, and from the first Hey Now! it was on. It was hot but the Kind was flowing. I cried during Althea (best ever?) and Bobby did a fantastic job with Mission (1st in 35 years for Phil & Bobby!). Oh Lord what a second set. . . I bought the board and listened on the way home and again this morning, but an audience copy is most welcome. I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect setlist. The place was vibrating during Solomon's, and my brother in Philly will be jealous about the Prudence! Happy trails to all.
