Notes
1st set Windscreens and a 5db increase in both set openers. I thought the sound could have been louder

alot of fans bitched out because of the heat and never showed up, which left alot of good open seats to steal all night....payed for a shitbird lawn ticket, but was dead center all the way up front all night. shakedown street and help on the way were really sick !
The band is playing really tight together and jon k is a fuckin beast no lie

Next time you go to the Mann walk up the hill to the right of the box office and there is a gate at the top with always fewer people.... hope this helps

Subject: Good Sound - Low Levels
The levels are really low on this. Measured, there is an easy 6dB of headroom where this whole recording could be bumped up in post. With that, there is a comfortable 20dB crest factor. An easy 2 or 3 dB could be squeezed out of that. Luckily, its a really clean recording, so a level adjustment would not be destructive. All in all, its much better than a distorted version.
Other than the nightmare getting into the venue, I really enjoyed this show. Though short, I loved the first set (heard most of it outside the gate trying to get in). The Shakedown was spectacular and its always good to hear a Help>Slipknot>Franklins. Death Don't Have No Mercy was powerful and Fool in the Rain was icing on the cake. Good stuff.

Subject: Great show and recording
Subject: Great show and recording
Highlights of this show are the Shakedown and the Playing/HelpFrank sandwich. These are as good as anything Furthur has ever done! Rest of the show is good (except Midnight Hour, which is painful).
The quality of this recording saved me from buying the download. Great bass response and clarity! On the soundboard, there appears to be an inexcusable fade out/in between Franklins and the Playing reprise, which is not acceptable!
Thanks to the taper and uploader!

I am impressed with John K. loser was done well.. Bobby needs to give him a longer leash and he needs to get rid of the lounge lizard exaggerations. Sing the song as if jerry was next to you ready to stare you down for crapping out...

If he was, he would never have said “... jam tomorrow and jam yesterday - but never jam today.”

seen furthur quite a bit, this show was nice but not mind blowing. May have been the intense heat and the wait to get in. Either way i enjoy the band and the vibe. keep it up boys (& Girl)

Saw Furthur at Jones Beach a few weeks ago and had a great time. This is no different. The variety is great and the playing is tight and full of energy.
I didn't know Any Road was a Geroge Harrison tune...pretty cool song and the chorus is Lewis Carrol quote (and a favorite of mine):
"If you don't know where you're going any road will take you there"

I grew up at the Mann but now live in NH. Awesome job getting this show up so fast. My brother was there, said the first set was short but the second was, well, just look at it! Shakedown>Women is a classic, and there's a great transition from Playin' into Help. Any Road is a George Harrison tune-awesome! Reuben >Loser is worth a listen alone. Oh, and Dead does Zeppelin? Yes please!
