Always liked the intimacy of Meadowbrook as compared with Pine Knob/DTE. Went with my spouse, my brother, and my sister-in-law. We all agreed it was a great show with a very strong set list. That said, of the post Jerry line-ups, Furthur just never struck that deep a chord with me. Crowds were always great. Playing tight. But something was missing. Not to take anything away from John K [love him for co-creating DSO where I felt he was amazing]., but I think he tried too hard to sound like Jerry. So maybe the emotion and feeling just wasn't there. Anyhoo...... It was still a great evening. Looking forward to Dead & Company in Raleigh -

I was at this show, it was absolutely lovely in every way. The vibes were amazing & the music was wonderful as always. I have a question for the person who posted a few days ago... SELVAGGIO......do you happen to have a sbd copy we could trade or something for! I have plenty to trade, I tried to download this show off of Furthur's site however they already took it down & none of my friends have it! Let me know, it'd be soooooo much appreciated!!!!!! If anyone ELSE reads this one day & has a copy, PLEASE let me know, I'll check on here often!!

That annoying buzz is also on the official SBD. It's particularly audible in quieter moments and slower tunes.

I just wanted to say...that 'buzzing' throughout the show, it wasn't a PA problem, that was the Vibration of Life. I felt it!

Well, here's 2 another summer tour. Furthur this was the best yet! We appreciate it. Phil, god bless you...don't ever let anyone tell you you can't sing. Bob, keep it in the pocket, sounds good. Thanks for a solid recording, considering it is the only one in the archive. Long live the blues, yellows, and all colors in between! Let's all remember, "we are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams," Wonka.

This whole show was cookin' and the energy palpable. Wonderful way for the boys to end a tour. That said I must take issue with a few comments (here and elsewhere) talking about the Push and/or the Days Between. Bottom line is they're gonna play a few mid tempo tunes and also a few ballads. As for the ballads nothing beats Bobby singing Days IMHO. Maybe the Hunter/Garcia tune he's made his own the most and clearly one he sings with a ton of passion. Brought me to tears on a couple occasions. As for the When Push Comes to Shove to each his/her own but it's SHOCKING to me to read that someone thought that was a LOW point of the set!! That song made the whole show for me and the trio of LRR, Push, Mission was just glorious. Again different strokes but that was only the second time Push was played since Jerry died and the Boys absolutely nailed it. Thanks for a great show Furthur and PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE play When Push Comes to Shove again on the Fall Tour!! Been wanting to hear it the whole 25+ years I've been on the bus and so happy it's been resurrected. Thank you for a real good time! P.S.- Also love Iko and Weight opening sets respectively. They really dug deep this night and it paid off! Five star show for sure. Just my .02..... gdjake

Huge fan of this setlist! First set brought the fun early, especially the Iko Iko opener, but I thought it was running out of steam a bit until Deal. The solo at the end kicked it back up a notch, though!
Second set brought some fire with the jams. The jam out of Uncle John's seemed cut abruptly, but the work out of Unbroken Chain was killer. The jam at the end of a very fun Shakedown was also excellent.
Loved the encore selection, as well, a great 1-2 punch.
My favorite memory of the night came late in the second set, when a lady dancing near the taper's section dropped and lost an earring. She leaned forward to ask if anyone had seen it, and IMMEDIATELY 10 flashlights clicked on! Probably the best place in the venue to lose something.

I got to enjoy this with two of my brothers and one niece. It was a show/music that did not disappoint. My brother explained to me that it was the highlight of his summer!

There was a buzzzing throughout the first and second sets that you can hear. This was a sound system issue. Thanks for listening
