Subject: The Jerry Goodman Su-prize
WOW....Goodman fits in with these guys so well, I could swear the stuff was rehearsed....if this was a one off get together, then there needs to be more. I have seen Jerry Goodman with the Dixie Dregs, the first tour rocked, but that scene has gotten pretty stale.....this show has fire and passion galore, Mahavishnu revisited.....Yikes!! Do not pass this up.

Subject: This is a hot one!
No one else that I've seen uses a setup quite like Bob Cogswell's. Unconventional, but effective. This is another job well done. Aside from getting a good stereo spread, his recordings mic the PA speakers, so unlike many stage recordings, you can hear crisp vocals.
Jerry FREEKING Goodman of Mahavishnu Orchestra fame sits in on this bad boy, adding some mean fiddle to the festivities. This is another epic 12-29 DNA Lounge set by GM (you should get last years too, it also has some wonderful sit-ins). You want this show. In fact, you need this show. I hope Goodman works with Garaj Mahal much more in the future. Not that they need any help, but he's a GREAT fit with them.
This is a buttery, delectable show that I highly recommend picking up.
Stage mic: Crown SASS P Mk 2 stereo PZM condenser.
House mics: Crown CM-700 MPs, one each per main PA speaker.
Mixer: Shure FP-42, functioning as a mixer/power supply to all 4 mics/pre-amp > Apogee MiniMe > DA-P1
