Great film, I really liked the shots of the Lovell Telescope.

Wow -- I was 2 yrs old when this was made. There are many highlights -- Chuck Jones animation, weird clowns (briefly), way cool electronic music, rocket ships, and solid science. I really enjoyed this -- until the very end. Oh well, it was America in 1958...I guess.

What a cool film, but Frank Capra had nothing to do with it (contrary to what the other review says).

But Chuck Jones did do the animation!

Wonder who dubbed Aristotle's voice? It's clearly not the actor playing the part.

This is an awesome film. It has a creative and intelligent way of presenting the information. The little man inside my brain liked it too. Be prepared for many wonderful treats including both animation as well as brilliant documentary. Also, lots of cool retro film equipment.

Once again, another great episode from the Bell Science Films library - with Dr. Frank Baxter and Richard Carlson..under direction of Frank Capra with the help from the Warner Bros Animated Department to render us this excellent educational film on the wonder of the human mind. Highly recommended to view and to download.
