Jerry And Pig
Never cared much for Bobby’s adolescent singing in this period. Much rather listen to Jerry and Pig. Simply can’t get enough Blues, R&B, and Psychedelic Rock from those two.

not 3-16-1968
The other one uploaded today is the real March 16th show. This isn't the 17th either. There was a show on March 15th but deadliest says that no record of an existing show has been found for that date. However, the set list does look suspiciously like something earlier than 1968, maybe a new show has appeared from 67? This show begins with Me and My Uncle, which as far as I can see, was first played near the end of 1966--the 12/1/66 show has the Dead making three attempts at that song, and Jerry, if I recall correctly, finally admits, 'we can't agree on the words!', which seems to show that it was so new that it was a work in progress. So perhaps this show is from 1967 or from an as yet unknown date in early 1968, but it isn't from March 16th. ...however, I'm always happy to hear a new show, and this one is pretty good!
Okay, three hours later I read the information on the yellow flier for the concert and it says 17th and 18/19 but not at Carousel Ballroom. As I guessed earlier, it IS from an earlier year: THIS IS THE SHOW FROM 3/18/67, AT WINTERLAND!!! Check it out on deadlists...a great show for it's time and a rare complete--and high quality show--from a year that has few such shows available.
