Although the first half or so is nothing that special, Alligator & everything after is so smokin' I can't stand it.

Lovelight
This is a great stretched out version with the band getting into all kinds of unique grooves. The Fillmore West at this time seems to have been a place where the band felt they could relax and try new things. The Not Fade Away sandwiched in towards the end isn't as menacing as, say, 5-6-70 Kresge Plaza, but it's certainly "of that time" and packs a punch.
The Dew is also nice (love the sound of Pigpen plugging in the organ!) and, as others have noted, the Alligator jam is quite different from the jam heard the previous year (and earlier).
The Dancin' is tight. A lot of times the "tighten up" jam kinda kills the song's momentum for me but the band segues into it here pretty quickly and smoothly. This version may be the exception that proves the rule ...? Superb drumming and the sound quality is magnificent.

nice upgrade
This is a nice upgrade over 86951 - noticeably less hiss without any degradation here. With this recording and 132157 we now have almost all of this show in excellent quality. Thanks for sharing!
