Notes
This date was 2 years after Duane Allman died. There was a beautiful motorcycle onstage close to the band. The next night it was gone.
Cut in Big River at 1:14
Several cuts between songs. I was worried about running out of tape.

Thanks for your effort Chaffe. Beginning to love the atmospheric feel of this tape. Great boards of this show, but the "You are there" aspect of this is great. Looks like you were in a Fun Spot in front of Bobby, can almost hear when you were sitting vs standing. Your proximity to the stage would account for dominance of rhythm guitar over the rest of the band and vocals, but yields enough Jerry and a nice clean trippy hearing of the jams with minimal crowd noise(apart from your repartee - I enjoy your enthusiasm, maybe Phil heard your call for The Other One.)to merit a listen. Band sound comes forward and coheres nicely during wonderful Truckin-insane OO-Rat sequence, great feel of Dead Jazz interplay. Thanks as well for your remembering of the Duane Allman/motorcycle aspect of the date. Lovely image and display of the Dead's historical consciousness.
