Subject: OK I was working this weekend
Subject: When Donna is on she's on
When her monitors were working she was on. During FOTD she is not over powering Jerry. Same during LLRain. During Music Never Stopped there was no over powering "there's a band out on the highway". She was on at this show and it adds to the effect. This isn't the only show she's on. So please cut back on the Donna bashing.
Subject: Original show was taped by WMMR-Philly
Later I took the tapes to WNEW, NY our sister station and they broadcast them too.
Considering a Cassette tape source this is really good quality. Note* the turn around, taping to broadcast was so quick, I didn't have time to edit the 'tuning' segments. But Hell, it's the Grateful Dead!

Comparing one show to another, or one era to another is not what it's about. Before the post coma years there were many highs and lows, and this legacy is one big symphony for all of us to enjoy. Like JG used to say, it's not the last note, but the next.
We are extremely lucky to have this treasure trove, and even luckier to have participated in this adventure, regardless of when and where we got on or off the bus.
This show was historic for many reasons....loads of people descended on Englishtown this day, missed it myself, a bit b4 my time, but it caught my attention, and remains a personal favorite, it's got that ragged but right quality which is when the Dead were at their best, warts and all or so said Phil so many roads ago.
There was nothing like a Grateful Dead Show. Godspeed to Mr. Garcia on this the 14th Jerry Week. Peace to all heads, living and Dead!
