Subject: POOR POOR Peter
one of the best versions. There are numerous great versions but as far as the guitar break outro this is definitely a Goodeee. the song as a whole is more upbeat, less dynamic ie the quiet parts arent as quiet as the great late 78, 79,81 versions and there are definitely better versions before the outro guitar break but from' Run and see' on this is one of the better(and longer) versions. perhaps(probably) not the best but its up there

There is just something about this performance and recording that really, really does it for me. I listen to the Dead 7 days a week for hours on end. The Black Pete is scary good.
