Subject: Saw it on TV
This was my first live tape as my buddy Andy taped it. In the UK the picture cut out somewhere during the first set but I listened to BBC to hear the whole thing including Pete Townshend(The Who opened and played a killer set).
This is a very good show from '81 and not a bad FM feed.
A monster Shakedown happens only half way through the first set. It's that kind of show. They get a little tired in the latter half (they came on around eleven) of the second set but Pete re-invigorates them. Nice Wharf Rat too. Superb He's Gone>Other One.
Oh and a Sugaree for the ages.
And the fella below is right about Althea. I think it's the best one I've ever heard.
