Notes
Master Tape appears to suffer from some deterioration, which manifests itself as some faint clicking/popping during quiet passages. There are also a few (analog) dropouts during the second set. But, this is, imho, such a fine audience recording that it's worth getting into circulation nonetheless. Download a track or 2 and make up your own mind. Seeded to etree on 11-2-00 by dnsacks@usa.net

We arrived at the arena 2 hours before the doors opening only to find out that my brother and his frat bros had camped out the night before and were in the front of the line...nice!
Doors opened and we rushed to the front of the stage and enjoyed a solid first set up close and personal...during the intermission, the crowd pushed in so hard that we had to fight our way out, my GF at the time was sobbing, it was pretty bad...
Second set was spent in the bleachers off to the side, if you've never been to Barton Hall, it's pretty sparse, just an open floor with some bleachers on the sides. Shakedown was awesome, the Black Peter solid, the Nobody's Fault But Mine, we were going crazy hoping Jerry would sing it, oh well, still a solid show in a memorable place

As of today, 30 years later, this bootleg set the stage for one heck of a run. It was my first show and my favorite boot. I never saw one to top it. The Shakedown was enlightening, from the stage to the seats way in the back of Barton Hall.

My most "listened to" boot. Almost as hot as I remember the show. Maybe my most fave of all "Shakedown's". And Brent was just smokin' (as was Jerry) on M&MU into Big River.
