I recall a rumor going around before the show that they were going to do Stephen. So during space and Spanish Jam we listened and on every tape you can hear us notice the begining tease. If thee were a roof to red rocks sure would of been blown if they did it. Gets 5 stars because sound is very good and show was even better. I too had the tape with this is the annual red rocks rain out before Women? or althea?

I listened to the show over the course of a week or so and it was really enjoyable. Great setlist featuring some unusual placements. Recording/sound quality A+. Boys definitely still brought it in '82!

Between "Women" and "Althea", Weir says "Welcome to the Annual Red Rocks Rainout but we're still here."
Seems as though all 3 copies of this on IA have that edited out.

I know that term is cliche. I really just wanted to say that the taper getting pissed at the idiot was the best part of this for me.

Totally great 2nd set. Adventurous and spidery playing all over the place. Let It Grow is an absolute monster even with bob's vocal hiccup. New transfers sound incredible.
