A glimpse of 1973
First set is very strong with LL Rain being really good, Deal cranks too. Shakedown is very good and fully developed and that nice ' just got to poke around" scat at the end. Women is funa and Terrapin is typical of this period. The highlight, although short and sweet, is the Mind left body jam. If you are a fan on '73 era Dead, gulity as charged, you will love this. Jerry starts it on his own and Bob comes in ever so subtlety and for the first two minutes it is happening and quite beautiful. Phil joins in but he seems to not be in sinc with the original theme and it quickly disolves in Truckin'. The Wharf Rat>Good Lovin is high energy but that 4 mintue piece of music is a must to listen to.
