Notes
Edited out a few minutes of Space. This transfer was done in '88 when DAT tapes were costing $25 a piece and my friends and I had to order them from Japan.

This was my fav show of 84. My since passed best friend and I took bus out of NJ on a chartered Dead show bus with a bus driver named Mr. Benson Does anybody remember that bus trip? He was an older well dressed black gentlemen who made the announcement that nobody would smoke wackey weed on his bus. He was so funny and everybody loved him. He even stopped at somebody house he knew on the way so he could so he could get some home cooked fried chicken. {No BS, he really did} He was a trip. This was an incredible show that I will never forget. They had speakers throughout the arena, not just at the stage. Healy was doing some crazy things with the sound that night.

Subject: One more Hampton night
This was the second night of a two night run. A solid first set including some of my favorites. They love each other, CC Rider, Brown eyes Women, Esau and Let it grow. I still can't get enough after all these years. The second set is kickin' too but I never did like that song "Don't need love". I love Brent and most of his songs but this ain't one of them. Morning dew out of space is beautiful. And I always love a good Baby Blue. Hampton was always a great place to see the Dead. General admission is a must. Both nights of this run were special. Gone are the days....
