Notes
The band must have had equipment problems more than once; but after Jack Straw they take almost 3 minutes.

this audience is the best aud sound version imo of this classic show. the sound (board eq?) seems off at first but then you realize this was probably one of those shows where some strong cool-aide was going around (there's a reason CT shows were notoriously "intense").
thanks for the upload!
** tape flip during the middle of Brent's "only a fool" **
that he seems to sneak in right before Mickey takes off into Drums. as it was never played again, myself and others are leaning towards this was a special dose of get the hell out of my head for some poor audience member. they do their best to make it sound legit, but with only three band members on stage and Mick/Kreutz never really finding Brents rhythm it sounds a bit awkward, cool sounding though and wish they'd played it again and made it a full arrangement piece.
lots of discussion about this show being no good, I disagree. the playing isn't tight with lots of misdirection from Jerry's leads when he starts a familiar path then just noodles off right as the guys fall into sync with it, but that also creates a surreal chaos to the show where the band members are all on their toes, allowed to improv with unusual themes and at times just trying to keep the sound oscillating within/around the correct song.
the mid eighties feel is strong and i love it. wish i could have been at this one without partaking of the psych punch, but who knows i may have not felt it at the time!!
i give this show 4 because of how well they pull off a decent show despite the very heavy atmosphere. worth a full listen at least, if you like weir'd shows, definitely a downloadable gem.
