Decent show..great memories.
We were on the road for the entire tour. Hung out on the lawn this night. My only Casey Jones.
I recall how easy it was to jump over the back fence or wall. My buddy John G. who hardly ever had a ticket, but got into almost every show, hopped over the fence with ease.
It was so easy, we were actually going in and out to get beer and other things from the car the entire show.
I just remember a beautiful, sunny afternoon and the Casey Jones bust out.

Although think I did record this show myself, lawn, and I know that if I did one once I turned on record it would stay on. I don't like the "lawn", outdoors sound, so I do not remember what I did with my tapes.
After going through many of the versions of this show, this is the one I find the best. Nice fades between tracks on the first set and a seamless second set. This is a keeper.

I have major hearing problems. It’s called tinnitus and for those of you who don’t know it is a constant ringing in your ears. Therefore, it is hard for me to find audience shows that are of good enough quality for me to listen to without doing further damage to my hearing (by having to turn up the volume past 5 to even tell what song is being played!). I am not saying anything about these shows except that as a person with major hearing lose, these are some of the shows that I have on my I-Pod. Of course some are better than others. However, I am not giving any of these shows a review. I can always find something good in every show…...as long as I can hear it!!!! Here is my list for today, 9/20/08:
7.6.84, 10.15.84, 6.19.91,
7.18.89, 6.21.84, 9.6.85,

What a beautiful recording. It really captures the thick sound that rolled through the woods at Merriweather. Had more fun than you can possibly imagine that evening. This recording brings it all back. The heat, humidity, sweat, smells and tastes. The only show I went to solo. Made lots of new friends, danced my ass off, and fell in love that night. Thanks for putting this version up.
