Hey GD Fans, or Deadheads ! This is a cool show and is often overlooked because it's in the 80s. Lots of folks only like the 60s and 70s but don't underestimate the 80s era. The 1st set is rather standard decent performance but the second set is full of surprises with a Cold Rain and Snow (mostly a 1st set tune) and a post space Terrapin Station which is a rarity; cap it off with a out of the blue Lovelight and you have a nice eye opener of a show.
This is my favorite audience source, many other sources simply suffer from hand claps, hoots and hollers, and muddy distant sound. There a few whistles but only where expected, and this source has a nice balance with the bass coming out somewhat more clear than other sources. Another release worthy show... however, I've heard that GDM doesn't like releasing 80s and 90s shows as they don't sell as well as the classic GD era.

Checked back in to this fantastic sounding tape. To those who made this recording you got it correct. Sounds AMAZING 5 stars for sound and 5 for the experience of being there in the prime of life.

What more can be said they break out stuff each night it seemed on this tour. Great time to be young and full of life.
