I'm trying to think back to '85. This seems way too fast and Jerry's voice seems too high. Is this a tape too fast or am I too old to remember the speed at which the universe traveled at that time? Nice clean recording but still has a little bit of crowd noise. I heard something toward the end that got my attention a crowd noise. But, I'm still not sure what it was. Perhaps someone got into some trouble and I detected it in the crowd. Can anyone who was there remember the scene?

I don't know, maybe it was swashbuckling-
Swashbuckling isn't normally connected with Philosophical insight...not everyone in the "tribe"
is a shaman, some have other things to do...

I feel like this is a nice quiet peaceful corner of the Deadhead universe.. the Big shows reviews are such a let down most of the time. We learn about the little acid head secret that often gets swept under the rug... acid don't make you a good person and won't make you interesting either. It often leads to mental instability and paranoia... as exhibited by our swashbuckling fellow heads. Sorry for the vent... Check out the cool jam on Cassidy, and Stagger Lee has some pressing guitar work worth noting. Onward and Upward!

Subject: Jerrys first show back after the coma?
Not much of a review, other than the obvious, its a GD show, it obviously kicked ass. I was just reading 'Captain Trips' at a friends house and I read about Jerrys coma and him having to learn to play guitar over again. And about a lot of other things he had to re-learn. Does anyone know, IS THIS JERRYS FIRST SHOW BACK?
