One of the Best!
This is probably the best 1985 show from what I’ve heard so far. Up there with 6/30, 3/28, and 11/1! I’ve only listened to the pre-drums segment of the show, but so far this show is amazing. The Twilight Zone Space is extra trippy, but somehow finds its way to a fast and tight Scarlet>Fire. Jerry’s solos soar, and the rest of the band, especially Brent, provide for a great version. The Samson & Delilah is pretty good as well. The opening drum portion of the tune sound just like the studio version. But the highlight is the She Belongs To Me. Jerry sings this one so tenderly, and his solos are very tight and emotional. The Truckin’>Comes a Time>Around & Around is nothing to scoff at either. The Comes a Time is the highlight of this trio. Overall, great show so far. That first set looks tasty as well. Hunter Seamons always seems to make the best matrices, providing a perfect balance of audience and soundboard. However, if anyone is looking for a good soundboard, look up Wall of Sound on YouTube. They put out some great soundboards of great shows over there. Anyways, peace!
