the duo that rocked out the '80s
it should go without sayin..but to assure any skeptics..BRENT FUCKIN ROCKS!...and when Jerry and he throw lead to and fro and smiLe at ones performance...get "BETTER"..simpLy becuz the other wills it to the other...and Blow Away is no exception to all the above....the nites that Brent "stops"the band..to give a lesson on ReaL LoVe are the niTes when that itself "reaL Love"...is seen onstage more so than otherz...brent shines like a keyboard god on this tune..its true emotion spilling into song and dance and the crowds intenseity growz while the boys and jer throw aside any hesitation and let him know how much ReaL LoVe..we all have for him

Thank you
For not making a track change between Me and My Uncle and Big River. Phenomenal 2nd set, Dark Star in particular!

Though I'm not generally fond of late-period Dark Stars,
this one is pretty psychedelic! The show in general is good but not spectacular, and this recording is very harsh & jangley-sounding.

the satellite gun?
re "the satellite gun references " below
What is that about?
In any case, agreed, amazing Blow Away, and best Darkstar of the year

scary jerry
ive had second set for 20 years now. Now reading reviews my feelings were confirmed. it was scary Jerry. at night this was a spooky desolate tape. blow away was awesome, and kinda scary. i thought the best of the dark stars that year, although Meadowlands incredible, but both better than Hampton. Maybe best Stella ever w/Bob's spooky whale sounds. . Good to see my suspicions confirmed. THe dead could skullfuck ya like no other. I remember 88 and the satellite gun references (by crowd). I remember the "no guns 89 tees. But seriously really cool tape to listen to at night, another good night tape 74 frisco Dark Star morning dew
