Notes:
Rain can be heard on the mic umbrellas early in the show. The weather caused some production issues at times, but the SBD recording sounds very good overall.
Some minor SBD mix and level changes during the show. The SBD set 1 Dat had lower levels than the set 2 master cassette and was increased slightly, although still lower.
Jerry's guitar is low in the mix at the end of Feel Like A Stranger and the first half of Bertha. They boost Jerry's vocals at the "ran into a rainstorm" lyrics, which the audience cheers to.
Some clicks removed throughout the show.
No EQ in either source for set 1.
The SBD high end was much more extended for set 2 and was EQ'd lower to closely match set 1 (both Dat and Cassette Master sources had lower high end for set 1). This extra high end, along with some other frequencies, shift abruptly much lower during Touch Of Grey (more like set 1), for which less EQ compensates. Several other frequency changes occur during Touch that were EQ'd to compensate. Complex EQ work here but it's more consistent now. The Weight then has a new, light EQ setting as well for the whole song.
Candace Brightman can be heard talking at the lighting board at times due to the mic placements for the UltraMatrix SBD recording.
Minuscule SBD cut in Foolish Heart fixed, about 1/30 of a second.
A very unusual 50 seconds of Dark Star in the SBD cassette exhibited a smearing or bleeding tape effect that rendered it unmatrixable without it sounding more weird or phasey. (Rain damage? Sound anomaly?) Only the SBD plays here, and it sounds a little muffled too. The same issue occurs again for 26 seconds during Touch Of Grey and the last 5 seconds of The Weight, for which the SBD is faded out and the AUD ends the song anyway.
AUD tape flip during Space, 11 seconds.
Phenomenal high energy matrix sound with active audience engagement. Really captures the stadium ambience.
