It was hot, literally this day.
The Dead came out a bit groggy and the fans did too. ‘What beautiful people all around, with so much understanding with a wink of mischievous behaviors and literal ice and H2O. I just remember Garcia with a big smile.
Great performance and incredible Fans!

Twas like a dream...
On the road and decided too many people were too excited about this show, bought one ticket for the first show, and traded it for two the following day. Instead we went up to a park near the stadium that sat high on a hill overlooking the stadium, just under a broadcasting tower. Someone pulled their truck up behind us and blast the concert, which was being broadcast live! on a local channel, and we listened to the broadcast as we watched the entire crowd sway to the music. We could see and feel the excitement of the crowd and the sky and the beauty of the day. OH! And I caught a show that same night at the raddison- Zero opened for the radiators, and I always remember that show as the night that they were dancing on the ceilings, Zero rocked that house down. No regrets about missing the first night. Ahhhh- I get goosebumps. LOVE!

another nice show
Although it took Jer a while to warm up his pipes, this was another nice show, especially with Way to Go Home and Smokestack Lightin'.
