Subject: some of the best '93 stretches
I gave this AUD a listen after being drawn to the multiple enthusiastic reviews of this show's soundboard recording - and, well, I'd say 8/22 has some the best stretches of '93 GD music I've heard (so far). I attended all the shows I could in '93 (the best for me was having my Eyes opened on 3/20) - and, well, I sure wish I could have made it to Autzen Stadium. A 5-star show for the year. H>S>F is a special treat, maybe the greatest '90s rendition. I became a fan of Days Between after listening to this performance of it - what a great tune!
Thanks again to Keith Litzenberger for capturing these moments.

but tinnier than the Evans tape. One of my favorite shows I ever saw. Last time I saw a lot of people from my youth: Opal, Rob, Jenna my love...hope you're all happy & high as kites.

The first item i ever downloaded, in 1999, hooked up to a phone modem in all its snail-paced glory. The site was the late great Astrojams, which offered 30 shows in slow rotation. First song i listened to was Broken Arrow and was floored by the very idea that i had an analog-free master soundboard..or the web-based digital virtuality thereof. It was VERY hot those 2 days in Eugene and the 3 of us would migrate around the stadium as the sun passed overhead, following the shade as best we could. This one has many high spots & is marked by a beautiful drum/space & the highest 'Days Between' i know of. That song in the early 90's & GD's inspired take on Morning Dew 30 years before..hell an artist would be damn lucky to create something as timelessly uplifitng as those 2 songs in an entire lifetime...and could retire with a hearty 'well done, mate' offered by all who were touched by them. But then when the music's over & all is written..i guess that's just what happened. Bless you, Mr Hunter. Bless you, Mr Garcia. And to all a good life.
