not bad...
Unfortunately I never saw a show at Shorline, so I can't comment on the scene, but this is a solid show playing and setlist wise. Definately worthy of more than 2 stars. I would also beg to differ with the reviewer below in that the 94 Shorline run is very good featuring two of the better shows from that very uneven year(7-2 & 7-3).
Back to this show, not terrible, not grate, but very well played for the most part. Surely much better than Coldplay or Brad Paisley! Unless your into that sort of thing. I'm not one that thinks anything Jerry played was gold, I saw some terrible shows in 94-95, but his playing is very crisp & on point for the majority of this show. Phil sounding good as well, drummers too. To hammer my point home, give me Scarlet> Fire> Estimated> Terrapin over anything in the Coldplay repertoire, even if it's poorly played, & this run of classics is actually very well played at this show. Not the best ever but s olid.
I rate shows by era and being in the midst of the 92-95 era, this show is worthy of 4 stars. You may add or subtract based on your opinion of this era. (Its giving me fits trying to edit this review on my phone so I apologize if some f iitt ddosent make sense)

Yeah, if you'd seen shows at this venue from '89 thru '91, you'd know how "indescribably electric" the scene and the show could be. There are really not words for the positive energy and the magical "better than possible licks") coming off of Jerry. Things started to nosedive in '92, and by '93 - Well, they were "pleasant" shows. "Pleasant" like Cold play and Brad Paisley. Oy ! ;-)

These shows were Very weak. Loved the security and scene at shoreline, one of the best placed to see a show but not this year.
