Not the best .... not the worst
I have a hard time with proclaiming this to be one of the better shows in the 90's played in Chicago. Soldier Field in 1991 was a much better show than this one. For nostalgic purposes, I will give it up for the last Star played - and it is short but sweet but it is also 1st verse only (a true bummer since this was the only Dark Star I had ever heard live) and a very rare Chicago Scarlet/Fire. Outside of that, you have Cheezy Answers, a standard Miracle and a common Chicago Standing on the Moon ( i think the one from 93 was better). The PA/FM interference mars the first set, and I Fought the Law is just a funny play on the harsh lot scene which evokes only bad memories from all heads.
However, Bobby busts out the acoustic on Looks Like Rain and there are a couple of nice treats sprinkled throughout the rest of the show (High Time,Phil's Tom Thumb Blues, and Jerry ripping apart the end of So Many Roads.)
Overall, major thanks goes out to 3d for the work done on this recording as I found previous copies to be unbearable. This is a great listen now, and between quality and song selection I give this a weak 4 star rating.
