I am on an amazing journey
I am listening to every 1994 show in order, mining for gold.
Set 1 Highlights: Nice Jack Straw, Ramble on Rose.
Set 2 Highlights: Listen to it all! Jerry almost brutally slays Terrapin, but then he saves the day. 28 min Drums>Space>I Need a Miracle will take you there. We get a Baby Blue encore.

Very good show.
Phenomenal Stella Blue. The rest of it is a solid show overall, but a shame about the Terrapin.

I was happy to see the show...
Sorry that we couldn't all be born in the "golden age of the dead". I was grateful for every show i made it to. My favorite song was well played, "Peggy O". I always loved Shoreline shows, my first ever show being 6/21/89. There were highlights in every show, especially if you were there to experience the true flow. I remember boogeying with a hot little lady up by the wind masts up top during its all over now..... The drum circle during set break was amazing..... Bag on us late comers and the band all you want for the last years, It was still the best years of my life.... Anytime i can hear a sbd of a show i was at i will give it a 4.....

Incorrect about Dough Knees.
They played Don't ease 6-8-94 and 6-10-94 both in Cal Expo! 6-24-94 Vegas, 7-1-94 Shoreline, pretty much all over the place! Not sure where this stat came from. I had done the entire west coast summer tour in 94 but for this one I was just passing through town on my way to san diego and stopped in to see what was shaking. Skecthy lot scene. Listened out in the lot till West LA and walked back to my car. Sloppy and tired sounding.

Thanks for the upgrade
Great sound. Thanks for the upgrade CM.
IMHO, a mediocre show (though better than much of 94') highlighted by a truly Grate Terrapin. Recall the "Mock Turtle Jam" from the Cap Center 1990.3.15 show following that Terrapin... This Shoreline 94' performance seems like an extension of those musical ideas. Though supposedly the boys "never played the same show twice" and they probably didn't realize it, these two renditions sound similar.
First set see's Jerry "sing along" songs and though, "Dont Ease" hadn't been played in well over a year, did we really miss it?
Playin' Is plain sloppy, with Jer seeming out of the loop. UJB picks up a little steam but is still short of high quality. After Terrapin the show picks up momentum with a solid Drums segment and quality renditions of Stella Blue and Baby Blue.
So basically we have an above average show for a fairly weak year. IMHO 94' is the weakest year of GD performances next to 92'. This show is dwarfed by the awesome October 1st Boston show just a few weeks later.
5 Star Sound, REMASTERED MILLER
2 Star performance pre-Terrapin, picks up to steady 3
Total's a 4.
